Blondes vs. Brunettes
I had to delete a whole paragraph saying that “by the time you read this post, I will be sitting in my hairdresser’s comfty chair, and my blonde hair will be about to become brown”, because I’m a brunette, already. I wanted to post this some days ago, but I had to make another appointment with my hairdresser, because of various problems, and so, it wouldn’t have made any sense. Anywho, I went today – and I must say, my new haircolour kicks ass!

“Naturally my hair has got this brownish colour, which is boring as hell, but this time it will become somewhat lighter and more… like a lovely haircolour.” I take this back – it’s quite dark. Like chocolate. Because, if she would have dyed it light brown, it would have faded away within some days – this way, it will take about 2 weeks, and then I need to go back again, to dye it again, until My Blonde Side gives this fight up, and lets me become brown. Light brown, probably.
I’m really in love with this haircolour, though, even if the first thought that came to mind while sitting in front of the mirror was “I look like a ghost. No… like that evil little girl from The Ring!” The fact that my hairdresser brushed my hair into my face didn’t help much, either.
Just like this and this post, this was taken from my other blog. And so will all other posts be, but only those under the Rosier Writes… category. Easy, huh?
Did you know that blonde hair and blue eyes are both caused by mutations? I first read this in National Geographic. Yeah, besides Joy and Glamour, I do read some scientific magazines. Although I’m blonde*. And blondes are stupid, right? Well, I learn 14 hours a day and read National Geographic. I guess I’m not a complete idiot, after all?
I’
m so sick of stereotypes. Like brunettes are clever, redheads are hot, and blondes are just hopeless. Especially those, who dyed their hair this colour. My hair is naturally kind of brownish, but I decided to change it last year, because I knew that blonde would suit me, too, since I had this haircolour until I was 10.

Well actually, all I ever hear is that blondes are dumb but hot. I hate that stereotype because two of my best friends are natural blondes but incredibly smart.
I have dark hair but I quite like it… You’re right, it’s not really about someone’s hair (or appearance for that matter), it’s all about a person’s personality. I’m initially more attracted to brunette guys but every now and then, I end up liking blondes or redheads. :P
I also know quite many blonde girls, who are seriously clever! I think the whole stereotype started when some chicks dyed their hair blonde and started acting like a dumb slut. Let’s be thankful for them. /end sarcasm
I’m also more attracted to brunette guys for some odd reason. :P They are probably cuter, or maybe there are some silly stereotypes in my head about guys, as well?
I LOVE THAT YOU USED A PICTURE OF SERENA AND BLAIR FROM GOSSIP GIRL. That’s like one of my favorite shows EVER, and Blair Waldorf kicks some serious ass, haha.
I have black hair, so I’ve never been fussed over the whole blondes vs brunettes debate. :P
Oh, I’m TOTALLY addicted to Gossip Girl. I just love it. It’s the best series ever. >_<
I didn’t like Blair in the first episodes, but now I couldn’t imagine GG without her – she’s just such an awesome character!
Lucky you with your black hair! Are there any stereotypes about black haircolour? Guess not. Oh, wait, I googled it. Raven heads are mysterious and sexy. Lucky you, again! ;D
Wowww your hair is going to look great! The color looks lovely. I totally agree, your hair doesn’t define you. And if people think it does, that’s just stupid. I know plenty of intelligent blondes, and plenty stupid brunettes, and plenty ugly redheads :P
