Personally, I’m a big fan of yahoo. Not because of its search engine (I prefer google), but the articles! And my mail, but that’s another thing. Anywho, I always take my time to catch up on Shine and the articles on the main page, because duh, I want to know what’s happening out there.

I found this article some days ago, and bookmarked it asap, knowing that I will definitely write a post about it. First of all, it’s about a job. And an interesting one.

“The fact that they will be paid to explore the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swim, snorkel and generally live the Queensland lifestyle makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world.”

Hell yeah. Besides, it’s in Australia! As a child, I’ve always wanted to live there, I was totally addicted to it. (Can you be addicted to a continent/country, by the way?) Later, I decided to stick with New Zealand, because it’s not so dry, and a penfriend of mine told me that the beer was better there. Not like I drink beer. It’s just good to know.

“The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) and includes free airfares from the winner’s home country to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland’s state government announced on Tuesday.

In return, the “island caretaker” will be expected to stroll the white sands, snorkel the reef, take care of “a few minor tasks” — and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates.”

Can I have it please?
